Device Tags
The system supports two types of device tags: system tags and platform project tags. Devices marked with system tags can be queried through system, subsystem, device type, etc. Devices marked with platform project tags and locations can be queried through platform projects and locations.
System Tags
- Enter the Device Tags page
Click the "System Settings" menu, then click the "Device Tag" button to enter the device tag module, as shown in the image below.- System Tag List
Enter the device twins to query, and press enter to refresh the system tag list, as shown below.tip
The system supports querying system tags by device twins.
- Add System Tags
Click the “+” button, and enter the page to add a system tag, as shown below.
warningA device twin can be associated with multiple system tags. However, if data such as system, subsystem, or system type has already been marked, the addition will fail. You can modify it and try again.
After filling in the required information, click submit to successfully add the system tag.
- Modify System Tags
In the system tag list page, click the "Edit" button on the right side of the tag to enter the modification page, as shown below.
After modifying the information, submit it to complete the system tag modification.
- Delete System Tags
Click the "Delete" button on the right side of the tag in the list page. After confirmation, the tag will be deleted.warning
System tags created by the current user's tenant can be deleted.

Platform Project Tags
- Enter the Device Tags page
Click the "System Settings" menu, then click the "Device Tag" button to enter the device tag module, as shown in the image below. - Platform Project Tag List
Choose the "Project" button to switch to the project tag page, as shown below.Enter the device name to query, and press enter to refresh the project tag list, as shown below.tipPlatform project tags are the system project tags created by Neuron platform users, and support device name queries.
tipThe system supports both single device binding and multiple devices binding to the same platform project tag.
- Single Device Bind to Platform Project Tag
For binding a single device to a platform project tag, refer to Device Details/Device Tags - Multiple Devices Bind to Platform Project Tags
In the platform project tag page, click the “Batch Add Tags” button, as shown below.Enter the page to configure multiple devices binding to platform project tags, as shown below.
Choose the platform project to bind, and the system will list all devices that are not yet bound to that project, as shown below.
As shown, you can search for the required devices based on your needs.
The following is an example using building data. Select the building to refresh the device list, as shown below.tipThe system supports searching for devices by buildings, device twins, or device names.
warningThe system has two buttons for binding projects (Submit All, Submit Selection). After submission, all selected devices will be bound to the user's selected platform project. Submit All: Submits all devices that meet the conditions. Submit Selection: Submits only the devices that the user selects. You can also bind location information for the platform (this will affect multiple devices, so proceed with caution). If you bind incorrectly, you can delete the information in the list or modify it in the device details.

You can search for the required devices, select them, and click "Submit Selection" to assign the selected devices to the chosen platform project, as shown below.tip
Device selection supports multi-page selection.

You can search for the required devices and click "Submit All" to bind all matching devices to the platform project, as shown below.

- Delete Device Platform Project Tags
In the device tag list page, click the "Delete" button on the right side of the device you want to unbind, and confirm the deletion, as shown below.tipOnly project administrators and super administrators can unbind projects.
