  2. From left to right: Exit Edit Mode, Save Operation, Clear Operation.

Adding via Asset Management Interface

Before adding assets this way, you need to obtain the BIM model's Element Id to accurately locate the model. To do this, you can first export the empty assets not bound in the scene: 1. Select the scene, click 2. Download Empty Assets to get a file containing the Element Ids of BIM models at various levels.

tip

Element Id: The unique identity identifier for each independent component or object within a 3D model. The platform uses this Id to precisely locate and manage specific models. One Element Id can only be bound to one device.

1. Single Addition

On the Twins Asset Management page, you can see +Add and Bulk buttons in the top right corner; click +Add to enter the single asset addition page:

Select the scene to bind to, and fill in the Twins Asset Name and the BIM model's Element Id.

On the Twins Asset Management page, you can see +Add and Bulk buttons in the top right corner; click Import under Bulk to enter the bulk asset addition page.

Note: Device Type Configuration must be completed before the template can be exported.

  1. Select the scene to bind to;

  2. Download the Twins Asset template for that scene;

    • Twins Asset Name: User-defined, typically in the format "Building Name-Floor-System-Number";
    • Element Id: Binds the Twins Asset to the model. Fill in based on the BIM model Element Id obtained from the step above;
    • Type: When configured as "device", the second-to-last column "Device Type" is required; configure the device type;
    • Device name: If the Twins Asset needs to view real-time data/device status, enter the corresponding device name. (The Device must be one that has been connected to the Data Platform and synchronized into the digital twin module's Device Management list).

  3. Import the edited Excel file.
